Culture Is the Strategy

Here’s something I don’t hear enough in the online business world:
I loved the culture of the corporate jobs I had.
That might not be a popular take, but it’s true.
Were they perfect? Of course not.
But I knew what it felt like to be part of a place where people wanted to be.
Where leadership cared.
Where growth was supported.
Where clarity and communication weren’t optional—they were the standard.
And that shaped me.
Fast forward to now: I’m a business consultant working with small teams and growing companies.
And I can tell you—culture still matters.
Even if your team is remote.
Even if your people are contractors.
Even if it’s “just the three of you wearing five hats each.”
Culture doesn’t require a big budget or a big team.
It requires intention.
When people feel seen, supported, and safe to grow—they stay.
They lead.
They innovate.
And your business becomes the kind people don’t just work for—but believe in.
I’m grateful to be inside companies—big and small—where that kind of culture is being built on purpose.
Where growth and joy coexist.
Where process supports people—not replaces them.
Where the vision is clear, and the humans behind it are cared for.
That’s the kind of business I help build.
Scalable. Healthy. Human.
The kind people don’t want to leave.
